Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to sleep train?

While all children are different, depending on their sleep issues, many see an improvement within a few days. Most children will show an improvement within 2 weeks with consistency from parents.

Can you sleep train a breast fed baby?

Yes we can accommodate for both breast fed and formula fed babies and plans are tailored to this.

Does sleep training involve leaving my child to cry to sleep?

There are many ways to sleep train babies and children, and a Cry It Out method is not a method I use. I look at a variety of methods which can range from being very hands on and gentle to a little more hands off depending on your parenting style and your child.

Is it too late to sleep train an older child?

No it is never too late. It is possible to help improve the sleep of children of any age and I work with children up to the age of 5.

I've tried sleep training before but it hasn't worked.

This could be down to a number of reasons. There are a lot of generic plans online which don't suit every baby and parenting style, which is why all of my plans are tailored to you and your baby after a lengthy consultation call and additional form to ensure we are working in a way which is going to suit them. It is also possible that additional support is needed to help you execute the plan with consistency and confidence which is where my 1-2-1 plans can come in handy.

Can you work with both of my children?

Yes, it is possible to sleep train multiple children in the same house hold at the same time, regardless of whether they're the same age or not.
